Come and spend a fun packed day at Aquashow Family Park, Portugal's largest visitor centre!! 16 Special attractions set in fabulous, sprawling grounds where the whole family can enjoy everything from the excitement of adrenalin inducing thrill rides to swimming pools, Bird of Prey shows or even a Museum of Portugal's History!

Attractions in the Aquashow Family Park have been adapted for Disability access. Ramps are thoughtfully incorporated into our grounds and we are proud to offer free entry into the Park for the Disabled.

What Makes us Special!

Pinetrees is a British run riding school in a 5 star holiday resort: a unique combination.

At Pinetrees we pride ourselves in looking after ALL of our riders. Beverley, the owner and chief instructor, is also qualified in therapeutic riding and works regularly with special needs riders. There is a large choice of suitable horses and ponies. There is a mounting ramp and block so getting up on the horse is no problem! She was chef de equipe for the Portuguese Para Dressage Team so can easily assist aspiring dressage riders with the Lusitanos. Horse riding is sometimes counter indicated for people with special needs and, therefore, it is important to get in touch with us as early as possible so that we can ascertain whether riding would be beneficial.

At Karting Almancil, if you are with your Friends or Family it's the place were you'll find activities for all ages. Inside a thematic Park you'll find 4 tracks, Main, Junior, Baby and Radio Controlled Models.
Admission is Free to Karting Almancil and during Summer we are open 7 days a week from 10am until midnight

For many years now Karting Almancil has been proud to offer specially adapted karts for people with Disabilities, (200cc and 390cc) where you can break and accelerate in the steering wheel itself therefore requiring no use of foot pedals.
Our park also has all the necessary accessibility requirements for people with Disabilities, Special Needs or Reduced Mobility such as designated parking, ramps and toilet facilities.

What Makes us Special!

The Adega do Cantor or Winery of the Singer is situated at Guia, a few kilometres northwest of Albufeira in the middle of the Algarve. It was built to produce wine, principally the Vida and Onda Nova ranges, from three surrounding Quintas, Quinta do Moinho, Quinta do Miradouro and Vale do Sobreiro. Our aim is to produce the highest quality wine that the region can offer using a combination of traditional and innovative modern winemaking techniques.

The winery is situated at the top of Quinta do Miradouro from which stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and coast line can be seen.

As well as producing wine we also offer a range of guided tours of the vineyards and winery, tutored tastings and the opportunity to purchase both wines and a variety of merchandise. Please see our visits page.

Quinta do Miradouro or Farm of the golden view truly lives up to its name with breathtaking panoramic views of the coast from our drying circle where the guided tour of the winery begins.

Experience the peace and tranquillity of our vineyards and as you are guided through the winery. We have wheel chair access almost in all areas. The visit ends in our cosy cellar door bar where you have the opportunity to cool off and enjoy a proper tutored tasting whilst sampling some the wines we have on offer.
